Strong nails are a sign of good health! With the cold, after repeated manicures or due to deficiencies, nails can however become dry and brittle... How to remedy this? Follow our advice!

Nothing beats beautiful, healthy nails, for aesthetic but also practical reasons. Soft, brittle and damaged nails can make our lives difficult. Brittle nails can be more or less annoying. It goes from the nail stuck in the fibers of the sweater to cracked nails and then it becomes more dangerous. Nails are like our hair, they need care and nutrient cures to stay in full health, especially in winter when they lack vitamins! If we take good care of them, nails grow 3 to 4 mm per day (much faster than hair) and are easy to maintain.

Why do nails get damaged?

While it is common in summer to have beautiful and long nails, in winter it is a different story. Weakened by the cold, the lack of light and nutrients, we quickly have brittle, pale and dry nails. Nails have the same composition as hair, strong in collagen and keratin they require a daily intake of nutrients in order to remain beautiful and strong. We regularly take care of our hair, so why not our nails?

How to have stronger nails?

We tend to forget them, yet to stay beautiful and strong, nails also require special attention. In summer, for example, we make sure to keep a minimum of hydration by applying a hand cream every day.   • We scrub with sugar! Yes, nails also deserve their scrub. To remove dead skin, smooth the nail and soften the cuticles, we rely on a sugar and honey scrub.

Relying on castor oil as a treatment
