While some people have mastered the art of applying them to perfection, others are more reluctant to get out the glue and tweezers... Since then, many brands have followed the movement and let's not lie to ourselves, they did well. We must admit, magnetic (or magnetized) false eyelashes are a small revolution in the world of beauty . Classic and magnetic false eyelashes, what’s the difference?

To put it simply, classic false eyelashes are glued on. They come in their box with a tube of special glue and sometimes a dedicated pair of tweezers (you can also simply use your tweezers). They are glued to the base of the natural eyelashes in order to enhance their appearance. While the idea seems good, the application is not the easiest thing to do. Especially when you are a novice! It is a technique that requires practice, and that is what discourages many people.

Magnetized false eyelashes are magnetized! They have been around for a few years now and are probably destined for a long and beautiful existence as they are so easy to apply.

How exactly do magnetic false eyelashes work?

It all depends on the brands, some will offer false eyelashes with double magnetic bands to be able to clip onto the natural eyelashes (at their base). Others will offer a magnetic eyeliner (to be drawn along the upper lashes) which will attract and hold the small clusters of false eyelashes. This second technique is the most discreet for an almost bluffing natural effect .

How much do magnetic false eyelashes cost?

To buy magnetic false eyelashes, you need to count between €10 and €40 depending on the brands and models offered. A little more than the classic glue models, but it remains very profitable given the number of possible reuses.

How many times can you wear magnetic false eyelashes?

As with everything, if you are careful when applying them and take care of them, magnetic false eyelashes can be worn up to 40 times! That's not bad and it saves you from having to go back and forth to the beautician for eyelash extensions or repeated lifts.

How to apply magnetic false eyelashes?

Just like classic false eyelashes, magnetic false eyelashes are applied meticulously and a certain number of steps must be followed. Follow the guide and be sure to never (again) fail:

Step 1: we check that everything is ok.

As with classic false eyelashes, we check that the upper fringe of magnetic eyelashes is the right size. If it is larger than our eye, we cut it accordingly in order to keep an appearance as natural as possible and above all to avoid being bothered.

Step 2: let’s put on makeup!

In order to avoid ruining the pose (that would be a shame), we do our makeup from A to Z before applying our magnetic false eyelashes. Step 3: Apply your magnetic false eyelashes

It's time to apply your false eyelashes. It takes some getting used to, but once you've mastered it, applying them is pretty easy! If the eyelashes have magnetic strips, simply clip them onto your natural eyelashes. If the false eyelashes come with magnetized eyeliner , first draw the black line with magnetic particles along the upper part of your eyelashes, then simply place the fringe of your eyelashes on top! It's (almost) magic.

How to remove magnetic false eyelashes?

What is remarkable about magnetic false eyelashes is that they are reusable (up to 40 times!), so you have to remove them carefully so as not to damage them. After enjoying them (all evening or all day), you delicately remove the magnetic strips from the false eyelashes starting from the inner corner to the outer corner of the eye. Be careful, the operation must be really delicate, otherwise you risk tearing off your natural eyelashes. If you have used the false eyelashes with magnetic eyeliner, remember to remove the excess liner and its magnetic particles on the magnetic strip to be able to reuse it correctly. Finally, you put them back in their box, until the next use.
